International dancer, Teacher and Choreographer. Member of the International Dance Council CID, the official worldwide organization for all forms of dance, official partner of UNESCO.
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she began her professional career graduating as a Choreographer and Dance Interpreter at the renowned Reina Reech Dance Studios Professional Training Career (contemporary, theater jazz, ballet, tap, hip-hop).
Qualified teacher specialized in the original dance of her country: Argentine Tango. She also dedicated professionaly in urban rhythms such us: femme style (heels), reggaeton, latin rhythms, bachata.
To improve her physical performance, she also became a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer for which she continues to teach group and private classes at the present.
She has studied with the best tango teachers in Buenos Aires, being a native, breathing the essence of tango everyday and intensively for the past 14 years learning different styles from classic tango salon, with old age milongueros and great masters of traditional style, to “new tango” style and stage tango (tango escenario). She has trained with some of the most renowned tango legends and tango schools in Argentina, helping her formation and serving to build herself as a complete professional. To complete her professional training she was part of the first International Tango Salon Teacher Career in Argentina, at the Corporacion Tango school.
She has performed for choreographers and artists in numerous different productions throughout Argentina and Europe, she taught in emblematic places in Buenos Aires and in tango schools such as the historic National Academy of Tango in Buenos Aires. She makes use of her versatility to perform in different types of shows and she enjoys understanding different dance environments from popular and urban styles to high complexity and sophisticated shows and during the last years she has been touring around Europe giving Argentinian Tango workshops, classes and performs.
In 2018 she decided to move to London, where she teaches, performs, creates and from where she travels around the world for new artistic experiences.
Carolina’s teaching style is based on the deep knowledge of the real essence of Argentine tango: connection with your partner, grounding, elegance and musicality.
Coming from different disciplines of dance and living in the place of tango all her life plus all her technical specialization, she has managed to form her own style of dancing and teaching to be able to welcome anyone the Argentine tango world.
Her teaching is based on clear understanding of basic principles that make our bodies move with confidence, having body awareness, musicality and mainly inspiring students to be curious and feel freedom of interpretation to discover their own dance.
